The Epstein Files

Trump, Melania, Epstein, Ghislaine

The following video was sent by a friend this morning. It shows Malaysian politician Mukhriz Mahathir implying that the current war on Iran has its origins in the infamous Epstein Files. I hadn’t paid much attention to this rumour earlier merely because suspicion is not proof and association of a person with a criminal does not make him a participant in the crime. But this video made me do some research online and this post is a result of that research.

In early February this year, Aljazeera wrote about the ties between Jeffrey Epstein and Israel. Jeffrey Epstein was of Jewish heritage though he didn’t practise the religion actively. He funded many Israeli groups such as Friends of the Israeli Defence Forces and Jewish National Fund. It has not been proved that he was a spy for Israel, however, as claimed in the video and a lot many other places.

Epstein’s associations with important heads of states as well as many billionaires and other significant men raise the question: How did he gain such access? It is tempting to link such a powerful network with one of the best espionage systems in the world.

Secondly, Epstein’s own lady, Ghislaine Maxwell, is the daughter of Robert Maxwell, who is alleged to have had links to Mossad. It is again tempting to assume that Epstein blackmailed his ‘clients’ to leverage his spy-works.

Jeffrey Epstein’s death in the prison raises too many questions, no doubt. The official declaration is that he committed suicide. This is not very credible, however. Epstein was held in a high-security federal jail in Manhattan, one of the most controlled environments in the US. He was placed on suicide watch too after he had attempted to kill himself earlier.

It is pertinent to note that the suicide watch was removed shortly before his death. Secondly, the guards are reported to have failed their basic duties such as conducting the required 30-minute checks. They fell asleep! Later certain records were falsified. Even more interestingly, the cameras near Epstein’s cell malfunctioned very conveniently that day. Also, his cellmate was not present that night. All these raise many obvious suspicions.

If Epstein really didn’t kill himself, the question arises naturally: who killed him and why? Powerful people who wanted to safeguard their reputation?

Was Donald Trump one of those powerful men?

Was Trump blackmailed by Israel to attack Iran because of his shady associations with Epstein? Is Trump destined to be a puppet playing by the strings held by Israel?

Will the world have to pay a huge price to save the secrets of men like Donald Trump?

Well, these are just questions. As far as I could find out, there are no clear answers to them.

  1. Thanks for the research. I appreciate the overall logic of Mahathir's argument. What about Mody and Puri, nearer home?

    1. I couldn't find any real evidence against them. There are only suspicions. Modi was probably trying to get links to significant people. But if he was aware of what was happening on Epstein's Island, then his complicity is obvious not legally culpable. After all, Modi doesn't have anything called conscience. So his awareness is of no use.

One thing is for sure, the 'war of choice' has been a great deflector and left the whole question of the content and implications of the files hanging. I will not speculate further. YAM xx

    1. America's National Counterterrorism chief, Joe Kent, resigned saying, "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel..."

  3. I'm not much for conspiracy theories. I tend to follow Hanlon's Razor in most things: "Never attribute to malice that which can adequately be explained by stupidity".

Too many people are spending way too much time and energy trying to explain all of this when the explanation is very simple. The orange idiot is trying to distract us from the fact that he's done all the things we know he's done, and the proof is in the Epstein Files. The war is a distraction. He hasn't thought any harder about it than that.

    1. That's the most accepted perception here around me too. Maybe, the truth. Maybe, there's more to it and ordinary mortals are unable to see it.

  4. The files are perhaps the most complex scandals I have heard about. The extent of its tentacles are unimaginably wide and deep. And add to that the most complex Head of State probably any country has ever had!

    1. It was more than shocking - terrifying to know that our leaders and some prominent figures whom we held in high respect were involved in such heinous activities.
